Stylish kitchen decor: ideas and workshops

Holiday plates

There are probably white plates in every home, because this is the most practical and convenient option. But with the advent of the holidays, many want to diversify it a bit. Therefore, if you ever thought about this, then be sure to read on, and we will tell you how to make a stylish decor on plates.

For this we need:

• white plates;
• Scotch;
• oven;
• felt-tip pens that can be used on any surface;
• cotton swabs;
• water.

To begin with, let's determine the thickness of the felt tip shaft and the shade. In this case, we use a thick black felt-tip pen, as well as silver and black with a thin rod.

We prepare a container of water, as well as cotton buds. This will be needed if it is necessary to correct inaccuracies in the figure.

Glue two strips of adhesive tape on a plate parallel to each other.

Before using a felt-tip pen, we recommend shaking it and blotting it on paper. Thanks to this, you can avoid blots.

Between the strips we draw small triangles with a silver felt-tip pen.

If something didn’t work out the way you originally wanted, just erase the pattern with a cotton swab dipped in water.

Using a black felt-tip pen, fill the bottom of the plate. This should be done as carefully as possible.

Over two strips of adhesive tape we glue another one with a shorter distance. Fill the space between the two strips with black.

Leave the plate for about fifteen minutes, after which we separate the tape.

If necessary, correct the irregularities with a cotton swab.

On the tops of the triangles we put down the points with a black marker.

In the lower black part we set the points with a silver felt-tip pen.

We put black dots on the border of the plate with the same distance.

We leave the plate so that the parts freeze, and in the meantime, proceed to the next.

In this case, we use a wider tape. We seal almost half the plate with a segment.

Glue another segment across, but not in the center, but shifted to one side.

With a golden felt-tip pen, fill the empty space with a dot pattern on one side.

We separate the tape, and then draw the bows on the border with a black felt-tip pen.

If desired, you can write wishes or motivating words. After that, preheat the oven to a temperature of 160˚ for ceramic plates. Leave them no more than 30 minutes. Such plates will become a stylish decoration of the festive table.

Hot Stands

Necessary materials:

• rather thick rope;
• scissors;
• threads
• needle;
• thread floss;
• candle.

We proceed to processing one edge of the rope. To do this, dip it in melted wax.

We are waiting for the rope to cool, after which we turn it into a curl and sew it with threads.

Gradually wind the thread and sew the workpiece to fix it in the right position.

We repeat the same thing until the stand is the right size.

We process the second edge of the rope and sew with a few stitches.

To make the coasters a little more original, we sew some parts with mouline thread of contrasting color.

These coasters are great for small cups or plates.

If desired, you can make rugs for each family member.

Such stands from other materials look quite original.

Bulk Product Cans

Almost every house has banks for bulk. But often they are not very original. Therefore, we propose to add a little interesting decor, with which the banks will look more interesting.

Prepare the following:

• cans for bulk products;
• animal figures or any other;
• spray can with paint;
• varnish for decoration;
• glue gun.

We color figures and covers from cans with a spray can.

Apply glues to the figures and glue them to the covers.

Leave them to dry completely, and then varnish. Unusual cans for bulk ready!

The original decor of the tea pair

We will need:

• white porcelain tea pair;
• Toothbrush;
• paint for painting porcelain;
• paper.

First, prepare the work surface, that is, cover it with paper. It is also worth washing the tea pair and drying it to make the paint go better.

We put a saucer on paper, after which we shake the paint. Gently pour paint to make strips.

Repeat the same with the cup.

If desired, you can use a toothbrush in your work. To do this, dip it in the paint, and then pull off the upper part and sharply release it. Due to this, an interesting bitmap is obtained.

Leave the product to dry completely.

The very next day, you can safely use a tea pair and not be afraid to wash even in the dishwasher.

Stand for sweets and fruits

As mentioned above, it is very important to use accents in the kitchen. That is why we propose to make an original stand for fruits or sweets. It will look great in any interior, just pick the most suitable shades.

We will prepare the materials:

• bowls and plates of any shades and size;
• glue gun.

Apply glue to the lower rim of the bowl. This should be done fairly quickly, since such glue hardens very quickly.

We put a flat plate on top and press a little. We leave it for half an hour, after which you can safely use it.

Those who like softer, calmer shades, we recommend choosing these plates for the stand.

Color options look no less stylish.

Of course, for those who have a kitchen in the style of minimalism or in white, appropriate plates and coasters are best suited.
